EDUC 767 - Designing Computer Based Training

This course covered how to implement instructional strategies and design using best practices in computer based training.  In addition to learning about current research, trends and standards in computer based training, we developed  a Reusable Learning Object using (in my case) Articulate Storyline 360.  I developed the design document  using the AGILE process, continually checking back in with my SME.  The storyboard was developed and again, reviewed by the SME and instructor.  When completed, the module was subjected to a usability test done by a peer and I also reviewed a peer's RLO for reusability.

My RLO is below.

Frog Species Data Collection Training Course

The objective of this course is to teach you how to identify and record different species of frogs in the Mequon Nature Preserve.  The course will teach you where and how to look for these frogs, what they look and sound like and how to record the data in a way that can be used by the scientists at the preserve. You will also learn how to identify some other animals that may be in the area.
